Now famous for their dedication and work in combating the spread of the coronavirus with the building and manufacturing of ventilators during the pandemic. Forfeiting profit and time to help flatten the curve of the spread and provide much-needed ventilators across the country in major hospitals.

Dowclay was founded in 1960 and is located in the industrial area of Pinetown, Kwa-Zulu Natal.  Dowclay is situated on its privately owned land and an architecturally well-designed factory.

Dowclay operates a total of 50+ machines, which specialize in turning machinery and cutting, as well as having world-class CNC automated 4-axis machining centers that produce the highest quality parts. 

Our experience of over half a century has equipped us with novel skills, know-how in technology, and competent human resources. Consequently, we are able to provide our customers with the advantages of automatic machining and quality assurance.
